Personalised tours in the company of family and friends
The day commences with a visit to the regions foremost metalsmithing workshop and the opportunity to meet master tradesman Graham Skender and learn of his inspiration and use of traditional forging techniques, in the crafting of architectural gates, furnishings, artworks and fire accessories.
The Margaret River region offers an enticing mosaic of pristine natural wonders, premium wineries, relaxed microbreweries, world-class restaurants, spectacular beaches, towering forests, inspirational artisans and an awe-inspiring vineyard landscape.
From there we head across to Margaret River’s founding winery for a privately hosted wine tasting followed by a three-course wine paired lunch in the beautiful surrounds of the Vasse Felix Estate. The Vasse Felix Restaurant offers a beautiful setting to indulge in regional flavours, textures and creative cuisine to compliment the Wine Collection.
The menu is created from local, seasonal produce and changes daily as new ingredients become available. Modern Australian in style, the menu draws inspiration from international preparation techniques, fused in a manner unique to Vasse Felix.
At the Jah Roc Furniture workshop, you will have the unique opportunity to meet with owners and makers Gary Bennett and David Paris, who are the master craftsman behind the award winning fine designer furniture. Hand crafted individually using Western Australian hardwoods such as Jarrah, Marri, Sheoak and Blackbutt, their bespoke furniture has been acquired by collectors all over the globe.
The final stop of the day and before we drop you home will be a visit to the Jah Roc Gallery situated in Margaret River town. This world class Contemporary Art Gallery exhibits Fine Artworks, Paintings, Art Glass, Sculpture, Ceramic, Jewellery and Fine Wood that sit alongside their own designer Jah Roc Fine Furniture, allowing the viewer to imagine how the whole setting could look in their own home or office.
