Personalised tours in the company of family and friends
Offering an immersive approach to a better understanding of grape growing and wine making. We start the day by travelling to meet with an up and coming ultra-traditional wine producer focusing on the classical Margaret River varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. This is an opportunity to learn firsthand from an artisan wine producer how important the saying 'less is more' is being applied to old world wine making.
Afterwards you will embark on a four-wheel drive exploration of Voyager Estate’s vineyards, underground cellar, barrel hall and kitchen gardens and the opportunity to taste wines straight from the barrel, followed by a guided tasting.
Your four-course lunch with matching wines awaits you in the decadent surroundings of Voyager Estate.
The Voyager Estate Kitchen Garden has become a valuable daily source for fresh herbs and vegetables for the Restaurant. The chefs and gardening team work together to decide what to plant to ensure there is a constant variety of produce, mainly focusing on heirloom varieties or vegetables not easily found locally.
A Wine tasting at Whicher Ridge then awaits you and is a truly unique experience with its combination of a farm style Cellar Door and ‘one of a kind’ Wine Sensory Garden. A tasting with Cathy will take you on a journey of discovery of the Western Australian wine regions of Geographe, Great Southern and Margaret River.
