what’s included

  • Pick up and drop off at your accommodation anywhere within the Margaret River wine region.

  • We start the day Southbound to the ‘Glenarty Road’ cellar door/farmhouse café/restaurant.

  • Here you will sit down with an in-house wine lover to explore their Wildlings and Kinfolk collections. From the ground to the glass, you will learn how their wines are regeneratively farmed, respectfully hand crafted and made for wholesome good times. This in depth flight style tasting of 6 wines will be curated to match the season and your personal drinking preferences with a spread of freshly baked bread, house-made cheese, farm snacks and charcuterie.

And this is where you will have a collective choice to make:

  • We can either head to ‘Jewel Cave’ the biggest show cave in Western Australia comprising three massive chambers, and whilst here you will explore an ancient crystal wonderland on a guided tour.

  • Alternatively, our route could take us to the stunning ‘Hamelin Bay’, a must-do on many a holiday schedule, offering a vast expanse of bright white sand, turquoise waters filled with marine life, and spectacular coastal cliff walks. And if the bay is sheltered it's also possible that you will spot a stingray, as they often swim close to the shoreline. (weather dependent)

  • Or for those wine lovers, we could include a visit to ‘Si Vintners’ a heartfelt natural farming and winemaking project, where their idiosyncratic wines are pushing the boundaries of Margaret River wine. There's a purity and balance inherent in everything they produce, with wines built from the roots up. This is one of the most exciting projects in Margaret River today.

  • Or you could visit AMATO VINO a small batch artisan winemaker offering a tantalising range of emerging Mediterranean varieties, micro-batches, skinsy ferments and other eclectic wines. Also featuring single vineyards, hand-picks, natural ferments – and incorporating minimal winemaking input using unconventional vessels for fermentation/maturation – this is the wild stuff!

  • Our third stop of the day, is a visit to ‘Mr BARVAL’ the smallest production winery on the most stunning location in Margaret River. With wines that are not aimed at the in-vogue ‘natural wine’ sector, but as a true expression of the unique and remarkable Margaret River terroir and produced by very traditional and classical wine making methods. Here you will enjoy a 'behind the scenes' look into the workings of a micro winery and the chance to thieve wines straight from the barrel!

  • A delicious Mediterranean style food platter will accompany your guided wine tasting.

  • Our final stop includes a visit to ‘Voyager Estate’ with its beautiful ‘Cape Dutch’ architecture, set amongst expansive, landscape designed gardens and vineyards. Their Wine Room is the gateway to the Estate, and a place to discover their story, and explore their wines. Curate your own tasting and select six wines to enjoy from the Estate or Premium range, and with expert guidance from their friendly team.
