Unlike mass-market operators, the service focuses on fully private, tailored luxury experiences.

  • Yes. Margaret River is much more than wine, and tours can easily include a range of premium local experiences. The region is home to artisan cheese and chocolate producers, boutique pottery and ceramics studios, and some of Western Australia’s most spectacular coastal and forest scenery.

  • Yes. Pick-up is available across Margaret River, Dunsborough, Busselton, Yallingup, and Augusta, covering a coastal tourism corridor of approximately 130km. And MyDriver Margaret River offers luxury transport, between the city of Perth and the Margaret River wine region.

  • Yes. Drop-off can be arranged at any accommodation or location within the broader Margaret River region including Yallingup, Busselton, Dunsborough and Augusta. 

  • Tours are flexible to suit your day, as flexibility is the cornerstone of a good itinerary. Options start from 4 hours and scale up to 7+ hours depending on how much of the region you want to explore.

  • Yes. Vehicles accommodate up to six guests, ideal for couples, families, and small private groups. For larger groups, two vehicles can work in tandem and with the itinerary the same, or split to suit customer preference.

  • Luxury is defined by private touring, curated winery access, premium vehicles, and insider knowledge.

  • Cancellations notified more than 14 days prior to the booking date will be entitled to a full refund.

    For cancellations made within 14 to 7 days of the booking date,  a 12 month credit will be provided for 100% of the cost of the booking.

    For cancellations made within 7 days of the booking date, a 12 month credit will be applied to 50% of the cost of the booking.

    And if you give us enough notice, we are generally quite flexible, and happy to re-book tours for another day subject to availability.

  • Generally, you don’t as MYDRIVER Margaret River will provide umbrellas in the event of rain and carries a stock of (recycled plastic) bottled spring water on board to stave off thirst and dehydration. Depending on the tour or the activities planned for the day, sensible and enclosed toe footwear is encouraged as we may be traipsing through the bush, vineyards and the wineries.

  • If you have any food allergies or intolerance's please provide this information at the time of booking and we will be sure to properly cater for these.

  • Spring and autumn are most popular, with mild temperatures averaging 15–25°C, ideal for vineyard touring and outdoor tastings. Winter offers its own appeal, being quieter and more exclusive, whilst summer enjoys longer days and warmer and drier weather. 

  • Most luxury itineraries include 3–5 wineries, balancing travel time across a region where stops can be 20–40 minutes apart. You should allow for 45 minutes at each cellar door, and an hour and half for a casual lunch, and two and half + hours, if seeking a more refined dining experience.

  • Most venues currently charge a nominal tasting fee, but these are often redeemable if wine is purchased.

  • Yes, most luxury tours can include gourmet lunch stops tailored to dietary needs.

  • No, lunch is not included for our tailored itineraries. This allows guests to choose from award-winning winery restaurants or casual vineyard dining across a region with 20+ premium cellar door restaurants. There are a number of fixed tour experiences offered, which include all aspects of the day's itinerary, i.e. transport, guiding, wine tasting, activities and lunch.

  • Yes. The region offers track walks, caves, forests, beaches, and artisan experiences, making it one of Australia’s most diverse wine tourism destinations.

  • Smart casual clothing is recommended due to vineyard terrain, cellar door settings, and variable coastal weather conditions, as well as sensible and enclosed toe footwear.

  • Yes, booking ahead is recommended, especially during peak seasons and weekends. Every booking enquiry includes an exchange of information resulting in a draft itinerary between us, and once approved all bookings are handled on your behalf.

  • Yes. The region has a growing craft beer and spirits scene alongside its internationally recognised wine industry.

  • Our tailored and private tours can accommodate families, especially when including caves, beaches, and outdoor attractions alongside family-friendly winery visits.
