Working from his Sensei Pots Studio Gallery in the north of the Cape region, Ian has worked as a professional potter for 40 years. Known for his lustrous copper red glazes, decorative art pieces and sophisticated tableware, Ian is highly regarded for the exceptional quality of his craftsmanship, use of bold colour, texture and timeless clean lines.

During this exclusive 75 minute experience, you’ll step beyond the gallery into the studio where Ian will share insights into his creative process and the art of making works from clay - from throwing and firing, to the technical art of glaze making.

Following the studio tour, guests will have an opportunity to peruse the gallery.

After your stroll through the old vines, you’ll gain exclusive access inside The Vault - home of the historic Vasse Felix wine museum - for this special private tasting featuring Margaret River’s leading varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
